The Widikum people have two categories of dances: popular and secret dances.
1. Popular Dances
The popular dances include the following:
- Nchibe
- Nkwe
- Awaramei
- Atangeh
- Tiwara
- Ejaah
- Nkwim
- Ogwet
- Ikayi
- Wanyam
- Otaturoh
2. Secret Dances
These are dances that require special initiation rites to be performed. They include:
- Onang
- Ngwifon
- Mbardbit (war dance)
- Azah
- Otuh
- Agah
- Nchibe zobi
- Okwi
It is worth noting that most of the above dances are gradually disappearing. The following reasons account for this sad situation:
- The poverty of the population
- The domination of foreign dances
- The absence of documentation
- The absence of promotion
- The absence of follow up and evaluation
